Neutrogena Rainbath Shower and Bath Gel Review
Neutrogena’s bestselling Rainbath shower and bath gels in the US are now available in the Philippines.
It’s really true that ligo (bathing) is life nowadays. The number of times I shower since the quarantine began has increased. So is the number of shower gels I used up and tried from different brands. Neutrogena’s Rainbath shower and bath gels are my most recent discovery. I have with me the 473ml bottles, I’m not sure if they have these in smaller bottles since I haven’t seen one on Watson’s online store. I wish they do tho! These are all well packaged in a sturdy tall bottle with a pump. I love that the bottles are see through so I’m able to see how much product I have left and I appreciate how the gel passes through the pump smoothly. No clogging.
I think the most distinct characteristic of Neutrogena’s shower gel is that it feels extremely soft and light on the skin during shower and after. A little product goes a long way. It does a great job at making my skin feel smooth and hydrated. And I like how easy it is to rinse. There is no heavy, slippery, or soapy residue after shower. I’ve seen several scents and colors of this product online but I’m not sure if they are all available in the Philippines at the moment. For now the variants I have tried are; the blue Replenishing Ocean Mist, green Renewing Pear and Green Tea, and lastly their golden brown Refreshing Original Scent.
SCENTS
Replenishing Ocean Mist is a light and fresh tropical scent. It reminds me of eating fruits by the beach during a windy day. So specific haha! I’d love to do it as soon as the pandemic is over. Renewing Pear and Green Tea also smells fruity, the pear scent is very dominant for me which I like. I can’t really spot the green tea scent in it but that’s probably because I’m not very familiar with green tea drinks / food. Refreshing Original Scent smells more musky, cozy, and comfortable. It reminds me of other aromatherapy body products. Very relaxing to use. I can also imagine most men would like this because of it’s musky fragrance.
I’m very particular with shower gel scents ‘cos I like to take time and enjoy their fragrance when I shower. My favorite scent among the three is the Replenishing Ocean Mist. It’s a feel-good scent that makes me feel relaxed and energized.
