5 New Brands to Try at Beauty Bar this Summer
You guys, this is the first event I attended ever since I decided to temporarily avoid crowded places because of my fear of the Coronavirus! I’m glad I didn’t miss out on it. One of my favorite beauty store, Beauty Bar, just celebrated their anniversary and at the same time released several new brands for us to try this summer.
I definitely love the beautiful venue (Manila House Private Members Club’s rooftop) and Luau party theme. I enjoyed the music, the food, and that cute pink Vodka drink I took a small sip of. But most of all I had fun checking out these beauty products alongside other girls who were as enthusiastic as I was and who love skincare and hair care products as much as I do. Let me give you a quick rundown of the 5 brands to check out next time you visit a Beauty Bar store this summer.

DR. PAW PAW
Multipurpose balm
I just recently discovered how effective and moisturizing pawpaw balm are so I’m especially excited to try this product! Dr. Pawpaw is a balm made from the Pawpaw fruit, Aloe Vera, and Olive oil which all have good nourishing properties for the hair, skin, nails, and skin. They have three variants and I ended up taking this orange Dr. Pawpaw balm home. It’s packaging may look bold and bright but it has a wearable coral pink “sun kissed” tint when applied to the cheeks and lips. It’s very pigmented so a little product goes a long way.

HEI POA

Hei Poa is a wide collection of Tahiti Monoi, also known as perfumed oils. It’s a multipurpose sacred oil from Polynesia that can be used for massage, to repair dry and damaged hair, and as a good body moisturizer full of skin-nourishing properties.

They have three unique scent combinations to chose from. (1) Passion Fruit Kombuncha and Awapuhi Ginger (2) Matcha Green Tea and Wild Apple Blossom (3) Activated Bamboo Charcoal and Purple Moonstone.

ECOCOCO
Coconut Body & Hair Care
“You go Glenn Coco” or shall I say “You go Eco Coco” lol! Excuse the Mean Girls reference. It was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw this personal care line. Ecococo is an Australian-owned brand known for their certified organic coconut oil-infused products. I’m currently using their Ecococo body butter and it feels silky on the skin. I also love it’s mild coconut scent that reminds me of relaxing fancy beach resorts.

MISS KAY
Perfume
If you’re into collecting perfumes, you’ll want to check out Miss Kay’s selection of fragrances. I like how their bottle’s shape and size (24.5ml each) makes them easy to travel with. The cute yellow Miss Kay perfume in the scent Sun Kissed is one of my faves! It smells fresh and fruity but at the same time not too overpowering.
Which brand are you eyeing the most? You can check these products out at the nearest Beauty Bar in your location or online at beautybar.com.ph.
