Flattering Nude Lips : Lilac by Lily Maymac
Lilac by Lily Liquid Lip Review & Swatches – Yasmin, Zahara, Peony
(Wearingn Zahara on the cover photo)
If there is one type of makeup I have too many of in my vanity table, that would be my collection of “everyday” nude lipsticks. I’m always searching for that perfect MLBB (My Lips But Better) shade I can wear almost everywhere I go and I’m happy to share that I found some of my favorites in Lily Maymac’s “Lilac” makeup line. She’s an Instagram star / entrepreneur known for her plump lips, so I thought it was smart of her to come up with lip creams that could enhance the lips and make them look plump and pillow soft. She released three cruelty-free lip creams in cute blush & rose gold packaging.
The shade Yasmin is a light peachy warm nude. Zahara is a medium warm pink nude. And Peony is a medium cool pink nude. They’re all creamy and soft in texture. I needed around three coats to get an opaque coverage because I have pigmented lips, but the lipsticks are already pretty even with just two coat. I can’t say much about it’s durability / longevity since I’ve only used it for a few days. I got too excited to share the swatches here with you so I’m uploading this review sooner than I planned to help you decide what to order online. Overall these are absolutely flattering and wearable shades. My favorite among them is either Zahara or Peony, depending on my mood. I’d go for Zahara if I want to wear a warm makeup look on that day, and Peony if I feel like switching it up to a cooler toned makeup look.
