I first heard of Aranaz bags back when I still went to school in Makati. My jaw dropped at how gorgeous the bags were when I first visited her store at Greenbelt. I had my eyes set on this fully embellished Princess-Diaries-looking sphere bag which I ended up not getting because I pretty much lived under a rock then. My life was school-mall-home-repeat! It was so sayang I had nowhere fancy to wear the bag to. I had to pass on it and deep inside I never really got over it.

Now fast forward to last Wednesday, after we had the nicest feast in celebration of the launch of the Aranaz for Plains and Prints Collection. I super love everything! Every handmade bag is a masterpiece and I was impressed at how the Aranaz bags were translated into clothes for the first time. It took forever and a half for my friends and I to narrow them down to our top three faves at the party!

After a long debate with myself, my top three picks from the collection are: (1) The Elena Clutch Bag is TDF, specifically the navy blue piece (some say its black). I love the chic flamingo, palm leaf print so much! It’s a very day-time-formal-event bag, a statement piece to wear if you want to stand out. (2) The Bianca Bucket bag has the signature silhouette of Aranaz Bags. It’s a cute bag I’d love to take to the beach with me. (3) And last but not the least, the Stella Hobo Bag, which is a multi purpose spacious bag that can be used as a carry on bag and a shoulder bag with its leather strap hidden inside. This time I am not passing on getting a bag or two from this collection. I left you a couple of close up photos to help you chose which bag to get when they launch online and in stores!
