The Hotel in Manila Made For Royalty
THE DREAM
HOTEL
I found the most romantic historical hotel in Manila. Every inch of Rizal Park Hotel is picture perfect and I love how this breathtaking place has a good story behind it. It used to be the old Manila Army & Navy Club that hosted some of the most important events in the early 1900s. Later on, after it survived the bombing during World War 2, it eventually closed leaving the building abandoned, damaged, and neglected for a long time. Years later, the current owners decided to restore the place but most importantly still retain most of its original style, which explains why as soon as I entered this new hotel it almost felt like I time traveled to an old Manila palace.

THE SUITE
I stayed at their beautiful Junior Suite Room clearly designed to make any guest feel like royalty (Mia Thermopolis Renaldi Princess of Genovia to be exact hah!). Right outside my room was a balcony overlooking the hall that connects the entrance door, the courtyard where we had a romantic dinner, the buffet area where we had delicious eat-all-you-can buffet breakfast the next day (you got to try their fancy mini corn dogs they’re soo good!), and a hall that leads to the casino and other function areas that they have in store for their guests. Some of them (the pool, bar…) were still closed during our stay but I was told they’re scheduled to open as early as next year.
The hotel is perfect for couples, staycations, vacations, weddings, debuts, events… basically just about anything. It’s about time Manila had its own iconic historical hotel for us be proud of. My stay at Rizal Park Hotel was such a dream. I’d definitely love to visit again , especially when all their function rooms are open. Make sure to step in this place soon when you visit Manila, you wouldn’t want to miss it.
