By now most of you guys have probably heard of the K-Beauty shop, Althea. But just in case you’re not so familiar with it yet — Althea is an online store that sells 100% authentic Korean beauty products at a low price, and delivers it straight to your doorstep in cute pastel boxes. No more waiting in line at the customs office to pick up your package, and no need to fly to Korea just to get your favorite serum from Mizon. Althea will deliver your orders straight to your house in pronto… and for free if you spend at least P899. Their estimated delivery time is around 10-15 business days, but my orders were delivered to me in just after 5 working days.

Althea is one of the main reasons why I’m much more into Korean Skincare now. It’s where I got my first ever Korean skincare haul (for a really good bargain) with a Laneige mask in it that I swear by and recommend to almost everyone I know. So now I’m back with another rave review of some of my recent Althea purchases that I think you guys will end up liking a lot.

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask — this is something I normally wouldn’t order just ‘cos it doesn’t really feel like its as a skincare essential, “I already hoarded 10 lip balms out of pure excitement, I don’t really need a lip mask”. Thankfully I gave in to my instincts and got one tub ‘cos this stuff is amazing. It smells like a puffy-creamy-bubble-gum-cupcake, which pairs up well with its semi-thick buttercream like texture. I coat my lips with this product before bedtime and I wake up having moisturized plump lips that will not chap for most of the day. I’m prone to lip chapping so this product felt like heaven sent for me.

Laneige Water Bank Eye Gel — is a very hydrating, easily absorbed, light, fresh scented eye gel. My under eye area is one of my major skin concerns, so I’m always on the look out and I’m always trying different eye creams. My drawer is filled with tubs and satchet samples of them. If you’re dealing with dry under eye area this is going to be your best friend. The hydrating effect is almost instant and lasts the entire day on me. However I think it’s also important to note that other than its moisturizing properties it doesn’t address other issues such as dark under eye circles and wrinkles.

Laneige Water Bank Sleeping Mask — I feel like Galadriel from LOTR when i wake up in the morning with this. I know I always say this every time I mention this product online or in person, but this is genuinely how it makes me feel. It’s a fresh scented gel that is easily absorbed by the skin and has an instant cooling effect. I apply it before bedtime, rinse it as soon as I wakeup, and immediately my face feels plump and my skin looks like its glowing. It really is one of the best masks I’ve ever used and I highly recommend it.
