I’m not so familiar with Korean skincare products. I’m fairly acquainted with their cutesy eyeshadows and lipsticks but thats just about it. So when Club Clio (topselling K-Beauty brand) finally opened in Manila, I had to ask around for product recommendations. Most of my friends basically said, “get the foundation and the Goodal serum… or anything with the Juju-thing in it”. By the way guys this famous Goodal word is actually called JeJu not Juju lol! 

Their Green Tangerine skincare line contains a good dose of this JeJu Green Tangerine extracts. These are rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that are proven to moisturize the skin and make it smoother and softer. It’s also full of Vitamin C that boosts collagen formulation and makes the skin look more radiant.

Their Green Tangerine Moist Cleansing Foam (price P420) is probably one of the most refreshing foamy facial cleansers I’ve ever used. Its subtle citrus-y scent is a good way to wake up energized in the morning. It cleanses my skin well, and removes most makeup fairly effectively (needs extra help with tough waterproof makeup like most facial cleansers I use). And the best part about it is that my skin feels hydrated right after use without any feeling of dryness and tightness. I occasionally like to use a toner after cleansing but since their Green Tangerine Moist Toner didn’t work so well with my skin, I’m going to go ahead and jump into their serum, which I was honestly extra excited about.

Their Green Tangerine Moist Serum (price P920) is raved by many skincare-lovers online. I used it soon after I opened the box and weeks after that. Its clear gel has an instant cooling effect which is quite therapeutic and de-stressing especially when you live in a country where you get hot humid afternoons even during the rainy season. I have a combination skin type — oily on my t-zone, dry and rough skin on my jawline – and this serum made the rough zone smoother and softer after a few days of using it. Its a very moisturizing serum that people with issues of dry skin will enjoy!
