Thanks to the Kardashians, Kim K to be exact I now have a thing for nude lip creams. It’s hard to find the right shade though, some nudes can completely wash out my face and make me look undead even when worn with proper makeup, and there are many lip creams that are drying. Which is why I was pleasantly surprised at how pretty and high quality the new Manila lip cream from Ofra Cosmetics is. A shade made in collaboration with Glamour Box.

I love how its catered to flatter asian skin tones and that its named after our capital city, Manila. It’s a super creamy and opaque matte cool-rosy-mauve-nude that you could easily imagine on Kim Kardashian. She wears this kind of nude shade so if she’s your #makeupgoals at the moment, you’re going to love this shade. It’s thick but not in a way that its heavy or annoying, and it smells like cupcakes!

I personally love this shade but it can be a bit tricky to wear. You need to make sure that you’re wearing this with a full makeup on to fully appreciate it, cos even though its beautiful shade, it’s still a light nude color that can wash out your face. I also found out that its a good base color for the lips when using translucent lip glosses. It lasts the entire day with slight fading after five hours and after meals. Its also not drying and not sticky. Very comfortable to wear. I’m prone to lipstick oxidation and this lipstick darkens just a little on my lips after awhile.
