BROW GUIDE : WHICH PRODUCT IS RIGHT FOR YOUR BROWS?
This was an eye opener for me! My brows have always been low maintenance. They are not to thick, not to thin, soft-looking, with a nice natural shape — which btw were sources of my teenage insecurities. Back then, my brows were considered bushy compared side-by-side with the usong (trending) ala-Jennifer-Aniston thin sharp eyebrows lol! So I mostly just use an eyebrow pencil to “fill in the hair gaps”.
I thought brow products like chubby cream crayons or brow mascaras were new brow trends made to spice up everybody’s routine and thought that they were basically just the same. Don’t get me wrong you can use any of these on your brows and make them work up to a certain point but eyebrows come in different shapes and sizes and therefore have unique “needs”. These needs require unique brow products. Here’s a beauty 101 run down from Maybelline that will tell you which brow product is best and right for your brow needs.
THIN BROWS
MAYBELLINE FASHION BROW CREAMY PENCIL
Use feathery strokes to frame and naturally fill your brows to get instant definition.
UNRULY BROWS
MAYBELLINEFASHION BROW PROMADE CRAYON
Gently glide side of top from the inner brow towards the arch,
making light strokes swipe the tip from the arch to the tail.
THICK & UNRULY BROWS
MAYBELLINE BROW DRAMA
Brush in light upward strokes to achieve fashionably fuller and tinted brows.
SHAPELESS BROWS
MAYBELLINEFASHION BROW 3D CREAM PENCIL
Use the edge side to frame your eyebrow and fill with the angles side.
THICK BROWS
MAYBELLINE MASTER BROW
Shape your eyebrows starting from the middle and draw it towards the end at the end
of your brow bone, flick it about 45degrees to give it a beautiful, natural shape.
SPARSE BROWS
MAYBELLINE BROW PRECISE FIBER FILLER
Apply the fiber infused filling mascara in short, upward strokes
for volumized brows with a natural finish.
MULTI PURPOSE BROWS
FASHIONFASHION BROW 3D CONTOURING PALETTE
Contour your nose and shape your brows. Shape your brows with the wax
then fill it with powder. Contour nose with the powder.
MY TOP TWO
my brow type : somewhere in between thin and thick,
could use help with enhancing its shape
I used Maybelline Fashion Brow Promade Crayon on the photo above. At first I was scared that this product is going to make my brows look like a preschool drew my brows with a Crayola crayon lol! But thankfully it didn’t. I ended up really liking its creamy-easy-to-blend texture. It applies so smoothly! The only downside is that since the tip is chubby it could be hard to use it on your brows narrow edges. I also recommend you use a brow brush to enhance the look of this product on the brows.
The Maybelline’s Fashion Brow 3D Cream Pencil is my favorite product from this collection. I like to use the creamy pencil to fill in the gaps in my brows and then use the brush tip to soften the fillers. My brows are not actually shapeless but it could use a little help to enhance its natural shape. Plus a sharpened pencil tip makes it easier to reach the narrow edges of my brows.

I used Maybelline Fashion Brow 3D Contouring Palette for my Kilay goals.. not for my ilong goals hehe
I have sparse browse eventhough I tried eyebrow embroidery I still want to make my brows look fuller coz it already faded quite a bit. Currently, I’m using the Fashion Brow Duo which I won in your giveaway. But I would love to try the Maybellline Brow Precise Fiber Filler, which there are quite good reviews.
I’m curious about their palette and their brow mascara! It’s something I really want to try out!!
Kaloka, pinilit ko basahin yun nakasulat sa leaflet. Ang bagal kasi ng net kaya matagal mag scroll down. Inilagay mo na pala yun details and uses of each brow product! Nagpakahirap pa ako titigan yun leaflet, haha!
I have sparse brows tapos shorter yun left brow, unruly naman yun hair sa right brow. It’s as if they have a mind of their own haha! I need those Maybelline eyebrow products, now na!
