You guys, Club Clio is finally in the Philippines! — at Trinoma 2nd floor to be exact and online at Zalora. If you’re like me who lives under a rock and have never heard of this brand before this launch, Club Clio is an award winning, top makeup brand in Korea that holds makeup lines like Clio, Peripera, and Goodal (their skincare line). They’re  popular for creating K-beauty makeup that last a long time and has a good coverage whether it’s foundation, eyeliner, or lip tints. 

I know how daunting it can be to go inside a new and unfamiliar store to shop (so many makeup, so little money lol!), which is why i’m here to report back to you my favorite items I got during the launch of Club Clio’s flagship store. After a long session of swatching and online research these are my top Club Clio products I think you should try.

The Kill Cover line is the most raved products from ClubClio and rightly so cos both the Kill Cover Pro Artist Liquid Concealer (shade 2) and Kill Cover Highest Wear Foundation SPF50+ PA+++ (shade Linen) are amazing. These are medium to full coverage, something you need in your life for days when you want a flawless makeup. While they’re not light weight, they are very comfortable and creamy in texture. The concealer is like a thicker full coverage version of my holy grail Nars Creamy Concealer. Their foundation has one of the fullest coverage I’ve owned. I love it so much I try my best to make this shade, which is too light for my skintone work for me just so I could wear it! One of their bestselling product is the Kill Black Waterproof Pen Liner which is similar to another known holy grail eyeliner from K-Palette. It doesn’t budge when worn, it’s very pigmented, and it lasts long.

Goodal’s Keratina Anti-Aging Double Serum Light (light is for oily and combination skin type) is a natural K-Skincare product that’s made to boost the moisturize, smoothness, and firmness of the skin. While I have not noticed the firming effect of the product, I like how it makes my skin feels super hydrated and glowy when I apply it. Last but not the least is Clio Professional Pro Single Eyeshadow G10 Pearlfection. It’s a beautiful foil metallic frosted champagne eyeshadow (my swatch above isn’t doing it justice, it’s way sparklier in person). I swatched several shades at the launch and completely feel in love with them. I don’t have anything like it in my makeup collection cos it’s one of those makeup you only use on special occasion.
