I was both excited and anxious to wear this dress at the Zalora Style Awards. Excited, cos the dress kind of made me feel like I’m Kylie Jenner’s BFF for wearing a very similar bandage dress like hers to a fashion event, which to be honest guys was intimidating for me. I’m more used to beauty events (they’re more laid back) vs. super fancy fashions events like this one.

I was also anxious to go cos the chest area of the dress was too small for my (pardon me) boobs lol. I had to wear a smaller bra than my actual size and double-sided-taped the bra to the dress to make sure the bra wont peek out. I know guys mega effort LOL! But this Instagram-famous dress from Fashion Nova is really beautiful and it was worth it.

I went with my Asian-Mandy-Moore-blogger-friend Cj Surita (don’t get mad at me haha!) who btw is about 6 feet tall (or maybe 5’10? I kept telling her we were like Frodo and Gandalf ). We had fun room-touring at Manila House — it’s an exclusive private fancy club with amazingly creative interiors. Each room had its own theme of design that I’m sure all of you will enjoy.

It was crowded tho, which made it hard to take photos (also one of the reasons why I only have a few photos to share in here sorry! The other reason being I accidentally deleted the few photos I brought home with me). In spire of that, I enjoyed discreetly looking at what the other stylish bloggers wore and finding out which Zalora Icons won the awards that night. Congratulations to Team Zalora for hosting such a fun and stylish event and to all the winners!
