GARNIER MICELLAR WATER OFFICIALLY LAUNCHES IN THE PHILIPPINES
I’m back with another Micellar Water Cleanser review to add to your list of MW to choose from. This is the cheapest one I’ve tried yet! The 400ml bottle is only P249 and 125ml bottle is P149. I’ll probably end up comparing them all for you next year, but for now lets focus on Garnier ‘cos they are finally launching their Micellar Water in the Philippines this December 2016! I have been waiting for this moment ever since Di and my other European blogger friendz raved about Garnier as Bioderma’s cheaper dupe.
If you’re still using a traditional old cleanser that works by dissolving makeup — so you have to rub the product on your skin harshly and then cleanse it with water after — get rid of that bottle and replace it with a Micellar Water Cleanser cos guys, these things will make your life easier! Micellar Water contains Micellar molecules that cluster together and act like a magnet to lift dirt, oil, and makeup. No harsh rubbing needed. Plus, you don’t have to rinse it off so the product’s moisturizing ingredients can stay behind to hydrate the skin.
PINK AND BLUE
Garnier has two variants for those with normal to dry skin (PINK), and those with oily or acne prone skin (BLUE). I have a combination skin type so I fall kind off in between these categories, even though I’m not really prone to breakouts. I’ve been using them both consistently for days and have not seen any remarkable difference between the two. They’re pretty much equally good in removing makeup. I can safely report back and say they are in fact a good and cheaper dupe of Bioderma (Bioderma is a really good and also really expensive MW). Compared to Loreal’s MW these are a little bit more powerful in removing makeup especially the notorious waterproof mascara we both love and hate.
As a facial cleanser they are particularly good at making my skin skin soft after use. They leave a little sticky feeling on the skin though for as long as an episode of The Flash. It was a bit uncomfortable at first but I feel like this won’t be a problem because I didn’t have any breakouts from it and its easy to get used to especially since after that 40mins of Barry Allen, the same residue that covered my skin made it feel soft and moisturized.
Overall, these are the cheapest and most effective Micellar Water in the market, guys! Garnier did a really good job in creating a fast, gentle but powerful Micellar Water that can rival its higher end (and more expensive) competitors. These will be available in the market at department stores and drugstores this coming December. Let me know if you ended up buying and what you think of it!
I’m also giving away a set of 400ml Garnier Micellar Water (PINK and BLUE).
So you can try these products with me, to a lucky reader on Instagram. Come join!
It’ll be up on November 21 to December 5 :)
