E! PHILIPPINES BLOGGERS BALL – TOP 5 BEST DRESSED
I panicked a little when I got the invite to attend the E! Philippines first Bloggers Ball. As most of you may have noticed on my OOTD attempts, I have a major lack of fashion blogger skills. The ball wasn’t really exclusive to the fashion bloggers — all sorts of bloggers were there (beauty, lifestyle, and I think maybe even tech), but since it’s a well organized and fancy event, I assumed that most guests are going to take it as an opportunity to dress up and go all out with the theme (classic white gold and black ball). So naturally, the star of the night besides this breathtaking paper-flower-red-carpet-wall by @oomphstyling, are the gorgeous outfits worn by the bloggers.
MY LOOK
I worked closely with a designer to make my Sherri Hill inspired, relaxed and carefree ball gown come to life. My concept was simple, I wanted a two piece crop top + big ball skirt set… with pockets! Yup this gown had hidden pockets that carried my phone, camera, Urban Decay lipstick (Fiend, shade discontinued), and Chanel powder. I didn’t want to bring a bag ‘cos i knew my hands were going to be full that night — you know, taking pictures and brooming the entire Grand Ballroom with my dress (tail) train. LOL!
Funny story on my way to the red carpet, a guy accidentally stepped on my dress train! I didn’t see it happen but my good friend Mari shrieked like someone got stabbed by a knife behind me! Hahaha she’s the best guys! People looked, except for the guy, so thanks to my friend’s shriek i stopped walking.
I also wore this long and gorgeous earrings from Jacatel which surprisingly was not heavy at all. It took forever and a half for me to pick these earrings from their collection because everything was so beautiful and sparkly. Go to Jacatel if you’re looking for fancy accessories — they do not disappoint.
MY TOP 5
BEST DRESSED
I saw a lot of beautiful dresses from that night but these five girls stood out the most for me. Pia Danielle is the GoWell Star of the Night and rightly so, cause her two piece dress, simple hair and makeup, and the way she carried herself out shined the rest of us. Another fave of mine was Rochelle Abella‘s two piece black and white dress (can you tell I’m into crop tops) that look super fit and chic on her. Nina Nuguid’s mermaid dress was so beautifully embellished. Shebby Liquete in my opinion had the best hairdo of the night, she looked like a goddess. And lastly, also my personal number one fave was Kim Santiago, she was one of the first bloggers I saw walking down the red carpet. She rocked that ala-Oscars red carpet dress so well with her fierce posing skills that I honestly wish I had!
So that’s it guys! Who’s you’re fave best dressed from the E! Bloggers Ball? I’m very eager to know! If you want to see who else came with what outfit just click on this hashtag link #ebloggersball.

HOLY CRAP, THIS IS SUCH A GLAMOROUS EVENT–IT’S LIKE, THE GRAMMYS OR SOMETHING GODDAMN *-* (I mean, when the heck am I ever going to wear a ball gown???? THESE ARE SOME HIGH STANDARDS) The event venue and setup is so glam and sparkly, and that giant paper floral wall is some next level craftmanship and your lace crop top??? I CAN’T. And the fact that you’ve got pockets in your skirt just confirms why we’re friends.
Clicked on some of the IG links and I love Shebby’s hair + dress! Girl looked like a ~goddess~*~*~ (And you did too, though you already know it ;))
hahaha it felt like a grammys to me yes! and thank you thank you. those pockets were the best! esp since i had to carry the skirt around whenever i walk cos it was too long.
You look stunning! And so does your 5 best dressed! Gosh, I didn’t know there is such an event! Just curious, who gets invited on this event? :)
