SOOPER BEAUTE LIP AND CHEEK ROLLY + GIVEAWAY
Do you remember the first makeup peoducts that you ever bought and became obsessed with? One of my faves back then was the lip and cheek tint… from The Body Shop to be exact (I loved that tint so much guys, I was so disappointed when TBS discontinued it). We weren’t allowed to wear makeup in school so I had to do it sneakily — BTW if your school doesn’t allow makeup do not follow my bad example hehe!
PS. I had this entire post prepared for you last Sunday (hence the early day start f the giveaway below), but it was delayed because of what happened recently. Sorry to those who waited for the second giveaway this August.
Lip and cheek tints are very student friendly cos its multifunctional, you get two products in one spending. It could also pass as a natural flush on the cheeks – depending on the shade but a light pink color could do the trick – or a lollipop lip stain to the untrained eyes aka to Mrs. ABC, our head disciplinarian.
LIP & CHEEK ROLLY
Blushing, Bloody Red, Just Bitten
Sooper Beaute’s newly released Lip and Cheeky Rollys have medium pigmentation (darker shades are more intense than the light ones). They dry matte. On the lips they last for about 6 hours before it starts to fade on the outer lip ring, on the cheeks they last a lot longer — i accidentally forgot to remove it one night and it stayed put with slight fading till i woke up the next morning. Their “stain” reminds me of those subtle and very pretty cheeky tints worn by K-Pop Stars.
Blushing, my favorite shade among these three tints, is pink. Bloody Red is snow-white-apple-red. And Just Bitten is slightly coral. On my cheeks tho they always end up looking very similar to each other unless you look very very closely. Overall the tint itself is a great product. The only thing I didn’t like about them is their packaging. The tints are gel like and less watery (especially blushing) that it’s hard to get the product out of the rollers, and difficult to spread evenly, you’ll have to dab it with your fingers. I would’ve liked it more if it came with a doe foot applicator.
Worn on the cheeks; Sooper Beaute Lip and Cheek Rolly Blushing (top),
Just Bitten (bottom left), Bloody Red (bottom right)
They also sent me their perfume scented Skin Brightening Cream and Blur Cream Primer to review, which TBH i wasn’t able to test so well. My skin is easily irritated ever since the weather changed so my derma asked me to avoid scented makeup and skincare products for awhile. I tried both of these once, and while i did notice slight a blurred effect on my makeup that day, I also got a small rash on my chin.
I wasn’t sure if it was the cream or the primer that caused the rash but they were the only two new products i used then and i didn’t want to risk it, so unfortunately i don’t have a strong review on them for you. If any of you are using these products, let me know if it worked!
